Universal Studios Japan will hold its Christmas event “Universal Christmas Joy” from November 19 to January 4, 2026. To commemorate the event, an opening ceremony was held on November 18.
The ceremony featured Takumi Kitamura, a brand ambassador and first-time visitor to the park, and Atsuyo Akune and Seina Takeno of the dance vocal unit “ICEx,” who are junior members of the same office. They enjoyed eating churritos, a limited menu item, and taking selfies with Elmo and Cookie Monster to experience “Universal Christmas Joy” a little earlier than usual.
At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Kitamura and others said, “Decorate yourself today! At Universal Studios Japan! Have the “happiest” Christmas! and declared the opening of the event. This Christmas, please come to USJ and experience a new kind of winter happiness.
