Basta Shinjuku to hold “Basta Tour” from December, explaining its history and structure. Behind-the-scenes stories by those involved will also be given.

Basta Shinjuku Dissection! Unknown Exploration Tour (Basta Tour) As an infrastructure tourism promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, “Basta Shinjuku: Anatomy of Basta Shinjuku! The “Basta Shinjuku Unexplored Tour (Basta Tour)” will be conducted as an infrastructure tourism program promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Visitors can learn about the history of Basta Shinjuku, its tenants, and the artificial ground, and hear episodes related to its operation from the staff. The first tour will be held on December 20, and will be held four times a day for two days each month from January 2026. The fee is 2,000 yen per person, and each tour lasts approximately 70 minutes. The tour will be operated by Tobu Top Tours, and advance reservations are required by the day of the tour.

Collective Reservation Service for Express Bus Tickets and Local Experiences We are developing a platform that enables collective reservations for express bus tickets departing from Basta Shinjuku and secondary transportation and sightseeing experiences at the destination. The platform aims not only to improve travel convenience, but also to increase awareness of tourist attractions by simultaneously listing them with the bus ticket, and to reduce the burden of multilingual support and cash settlement through the use of digital tickets. Products will also be marketed to domestic and international OTAs to promote the expansion of sales channels for the experience.
