Mitsui Fudosan and Iseshima Resort Management have decided on a renewal opening date of April 18, 2026 for NEMU RESORT, a resort hotel currently undergoing major renovations. In accordance with this decision, the hotel will start accepting reservations for lodging from today, November 17.

The hotel is located in the Ise-Shima National Park and features a location overlooking nature and Ago Bay, which stretches over an area of approximately 250 hectares. The renovated hotel will feature 18 new villas (81m2) that will allow guests to experience the nature to the fullest. Of the 18 villas, two are two-bedroom villas (118m2) suitable for families and groups, and eight are “with dog” rooms where guests can stay with their dogs.

In addition, some guest rooms, the entrance, and the lobby of the existing hotel will be renovated. Restaurant Satoumi will expand its space and offer a lineup that includes Japanese cuisine courses featuring ingredients produced in Mie Prefecture, as well as Western a la carte menus, special menus that fuse Japanese and Western cuisine, and children’s menus. A new kids’ space and pickleball court will also be provided.

In July 2026, a “Hilltop House” with a swimming pool, terrace, and dining area with an outstanding view is scheduled to open on “Tefu Tefu Hill” on the site. In addition, the “Satoyama Aquatic Garden” on the site will be redeveloped as an initiative for water circulation, and the aim is to create a facility where visitors can experience and feel “symbiosis with the natural environment” by taking advantage of this waterfront space.
