APA Hotel will open “APA Hotel (tentative name) (2-6 Nakamachi, Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture) in February 2026.

The hotel will sign a franchise agreement with Kawaguchi Shoji and rebrand Hotel Sunroute Fukushima, which ceased operations on November 15, 2012. The seven-story building will feature a total of 83 guest rooms, located a seven-minute walk from the East Exit of JR Fukushima Station and accessible in about 15 minutes by car from the main Tohoku Expressway interchanges (Fukushima-Nishi IC and Iizaka IC), and will have a flat parking lot that can accommodate up to 50 vehicles.

The hotel will undergo a complete renovation, including interior/exterior and facility upgrades. All rooms will be equipped with a spacious egg-shaped unit bath and 50-inch LCD TV, as well as APA’s original beds and free Wi-Fi.
