Lilo Vacations opened the hot spring hotel Yutoriro Echigo-Yuzawa (414 Tsuchitaru, Yuzawa-cho, Minamiuonuma-gun, Niigata Prefecture) on November 1.
Located about 10 minutes by car from Echigo-Yuzawa Station on the JR Joetsu Shinkansen, Joetsu Line, and Shin-Etsu Main Line, the hotel is surrounded by a countryside setting rich in nature and features an all-inclusive system that allows unlimited drinks at dinner and private baths at no extra charge.
At “Shuwashuwa STAND” in the lobby lounge overlooking the rice paddies, guests can enjoy a drink made of ponsyu or soda mixed with original syrup, and a “kaki no tane” (persimmon seed) eating contest, which originated in Niigata, is also available. In summer, guests can enjoy the swimming pool and bike rentals, and in winter, snow activities can be enjoyed on the nearby slopes.
There are 21 guest rooms in total, of which 7 types offer views of the magnificent nature of Echigo. The large public bath and two private baths use hot spring water drawn from a private source, which warms the body with the softness of water that is said to be good for the skin.
A buffet meal is served in the evening and in the morning, using local ingredients. In the future, the hotel plans to offer an upgrade plan in which each group can choose two types of food from “Japanese beef shabu shabu,” “Niigata brand pork shabu shabu,” “red snow crab from Sado Island,” and “assorted sashimi.
Until March 31, 2026, the hotel will be offering a special opening celebration plan with a flat rate of 30% off. Prices start at 14,630 yen per person (based on double occupancy).
