Osaka Metro (Osaka City Rapid Transit) has begun offering the “Osaka Metro & Kita-kyu Train Pass 1-day,” a one-day unlimited-ride digital train pass, on its e METRO application. The fare is 1,400 yen.
The digital ticket itself has been available for sale at Surutto QRtto and other locations since March 1, and can also be purchased with the e METRO application since November 4. The e METRO app can also be used to access Osaka Metro’s face recognition ticket gates by linking the ticket to facial information registered in the app. The application is available for all Osaka Metro subway and New Tram lines, excluding the Imazato Liner, and all Kita-Osaka Kyuko Railway lines.
In addition, if you show your ticket on the day of use, you can receive a discount at more than 20 tourist facilities in Osaka City.
