The Association for the International Horticultural Exposition 2027 and the Master Licensing Office (MLO) held a GREEN x EXPO 2027 “Tunku” and “Sanrio Characters” collaboration product launch event at Maruzen Marunouchi Main Store (1-6-4 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) on November 7, 2027.
This commemorates the release of the first collaboration products (7 items) between GREEN x EXPO 2027 official mascot character “Tunktunku” and Sanrio Characters. This is the second collaboration goods of Tunktunku, following the official character “Myakmyak” (released on September 23) for the Osaka-Kansai Expo.
At the announcement, Ms. Ayano Kawahara of the International Garden and Greenery Exposition Association, Inc. said, “We are now preparing to welcome you with 10 million flowers and greenery at GREEN x EXPO 2027. We are pleased to announce the release of collaborative products for the 500th anniversary of the event on November 4,” said Mr. Ayano.
To celebrate the sale of the collaborative goods, a commemorative panel was pasted up with Tunku Hello Kitty.
