JR Tokai Retailing Plus will hold a “Japan Nationwide Uimonomiyori Trip -Tohoku Version-” fair at stations between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka starting November 11.
Following last year’s “Hokuriku” edition, this second edition will feature a total of 59 products, including popular ekiben from the Tohoku region, onigiri rice balls that make use of local ingredients, sandwiches, sweets, and confections. In addition, some stores will sell limited edition items such as “Zunda Mochi,” “Chestnut Dango,” “Apple Pie,” and “Warabi Mochi” sent directly from the Tohoku region via the Tohoku and Tokaido Shinkansen bullet trains.
