Rakuten Travel is holding the “Rakuten Travel Autumn/Winter SALE” until November 15, 2012, with special offers on hotels and hot spring resorts throughout Japan. Up to 20% off can be applied by combining sale plans and coupons.
TAOYA Hakone (1246 Sengokuhara, Hakone-cho, Ashigarashita-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture), which opened on November 1, is now offering a basic buffet plan with two meals per night. Prices start at 21,200 yen per person (for a standard twin room for two persons).
Surrounded by the magnificent nature of Sengokuhara in Hakone, this hot spring resort is a hideaway for adults and features a modern space inspired by traditional marquetry work. From the large baths, guests can enjoy a view of the sky and forest blending together.
At the buffet dinner, special roast beef with truffle red wine sauce served with dauphinois and seafood teppan-yaki are served from a live kitchen. The lineup also includes Hakone Sanroku Pork and Green Tea Steamed with White Onion, Odawara Oden and Sanma-men, a local gourmet dish, and crepe Suzette, a warm dessert made with Numazu mandarin oranges, which can be enjoyed hot on the table.
TAOYA, the top brand of Oedo Onsen Monogatari, has an all-inclusive policy, which means that all drinks, including alcohol, are available at dinner and in the lounge. Tororo soba (grated yam) will also be served for the evening meal.
