Miyazaki City will launch its own travel support campaign, “Hottokenai MIYAZAKI” Lodging Support Campaign,” on November 7.
This is a tourism promotion project to encourage people to stay at hotels and inns in the city, which have seen a decline in usage due to soaring prices, the Expo, and the extremely hot summer. 50% of the total room charge per person per stay (maximum 3,000 yen) is subsidized. The subsidy is available to all, without any restrictions on place of residence.
The program is for stays from December 1 to January 31, 2027 (excluding stays from December 27 to January 3), and reservations can be made from November 7, 10:00 a.m. to January 31, 2026.
The subsidy can be applied to the accommodation plans sold by the 67 participating facilities, which will begin accepting reservations as soon as they are ready to do so. Depending on the facility, reservations can be made directly (by phone or on the official website), through travel agencies or OTAs (Jalan, Rakuten Travel, etc.).
