Rakuten Travel is holding the “Rakuten Travel Autumn/Winter SALE” until November 15, 2012, with special offers on hotels and hot spring resorts throughout Japan. Up to 20% off can be applied by combining sale plans and coupons.
Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East (1-1-1 Chuo, Aoba-ku, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture), directly connected to the east exit of JR Sendai Station, is now offering a plan including breakfast. Prices start at 11,922 yen per person (based on double occupancy in a wide single room).
The hotel is popular not only for sightseeing and business in Sendai, but also as a starting point for travel in Tohoku. The targeted rooms are “wide single” rooms with Simmons double beds. The rooms are decorated with Tohoku flowers in colors and are equipped with a writing desk for guests to relax in a calm and relaxing space.
For breakfast, a Japanese/Western buffet is served at the 3rd floor restaurant “FOREST KITCHEN with Outdoor Living”. The menu includes a salad bar and smoothies made with Tohoku local vegetables mainly from Miyagi, scrambled eggs made with Miyagi eggs, and jams made with local fruits.
Coffee service is also available in the guest lounge.
