AIRDO will offer Japan’s first “New Year’s Day Sunrise Flight” to/from New Chitose Airport in 2026. Includes special offers such as New Year’s Day commemorative Japanese sweets.

AIRDO will hold the “New Chitose Airport First Sunrise Viewing Flight” on January 1, 2026.

The company has been offering a New Year’s Day sunrise flight to/from Haneda Airport since New Year’s Day, 2022, and now it will offer a new flight to/from New Chitose Airport to enjoy the skies over Hokkaido. This will be the first “New Year’s Day sunrise flight to/from New Chitose Airport” in Japan.

On the day of the event, the airline will offer a “New Year’s Commemorative Japanese Sweets” to be enjoyed while viewing the first sunrise of the year, as well as an “Original Boarding Certificate” and a “2026 Desktop Calendar” to commemorate the boarding of the flight.

Reservations can be made through Japan Air Travel Marketing from November 12. The annual New Year’s Day departure and arrival flights to and from Haneda Airport will also be announced as soon as the details are finalized.
