The Sumida River Fireworks Festival Executive Committee will hold the 47th Sumida River Fireworks Festival on July 27 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. (cancelled in case of stormy weather).

The first site is from Sakura Bridge downstream to Kototoi Bridge upstream, and the second site is from Komagata Bridge downstream to Stable Bridge upstream, with approximately 20,000 balls launched (approximately 9,350 at the first site and approximately 10,650 at the second site).

The “Citizens’ Support Seats,” in which participants who donate money to the event will be invited to special spectator seats, can be applied for by postcard (by lottery) or online (on a first-come, first-served basis). A handling fee will be charged according to the number of tickets applied for at the time of payment.
