The Shigeru Mizuki Memorial Museum (5 Honmachi, Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture) will reopen on April 20 after about a year of reconstruction work. As a commemorative gift, a total of 35 tickets with Shigeru Mizuki’s quotes on them will be randomly distributed.

The permanent exhibition includes chapters 1-6, introducing Shigeru Mizuki’s life, the yokai he depicted, and his representative works such as “Gegege no Kitaro. The first exhibition, “The Birth of Kitaro: Four Stories of Rebirth,” will be held from April 20 to October 10. The exhibition introduces the story of how the character Kitaro was born.

Also, “Na-Poon,” a shop selling original goods, will open in the museum. Permanent goods and goods linked to special exhibitions will be sold.
