Visa Worldwide Japan will launch Visa’s touch payment cash back campaign exclusively in Osaka Prefecture on April 17.
The project is part of the “Osaka Area Promotion Project,” an initiative aimed at revitalizing the local economy through cashless transactions. The cash-back offer is valid from April 17 to June 30, 2012. The period is from April 17 to June 14.
Visa cards are also eligible for use through smartphones and wearable devices; transactions through non-Visa payment methods (iD, QUICPay, etc.) are not eligible.
In conjunction with the campaign, a regional commercial featuring Moka Kamihiraishi is scheduled to be aired to announce the campaign.
