Mizuno’s proprietary highly resilient material “MIZUNO ENERZY CORE” is used from the rear foot to the forefoot, and the outsole (red) and upper (blue) contrast with the image of Myakmyak.
SETTA C/6 MyakuMyaku This model is based on the “SETTA C/6” collaboration with Nara’s Yamato Kobo, a maker of snow geta. Priced at 30,800 yen, it comes in four sizes for men: S (25.0 to 26.0 cm)/M (26.0 to 27.0 cm)/L (27.0 to 28.0 cm)/LL (28.0 to 29.0 cm). Carbon fiber reinforced plastic is used inside the insole, with a high toe and lowered midfoot arch shape for a unique rolling feel and elasticity. The footbed part is made of cool linen-like fabric, and the midsole part is made of low-resilience urethane foam. The naso is decorated with the Expo ’70 logo, and the tip is coated with a polyester brushed PU finish that feels soft against the skin and is pain-resistant.
