Venus Travel, an SHK Line Group company, has begun selling the “Tokyo-Kyushu Ferry U30 Plan. The plan is available from departure on May 7 to return on July 11, and provisional applications on the official website are accepted until 5:00 p.m. seven days prior to the departure date.
This plan is limited to those under 30 years old and includes one-way boarding from Yokosuka (departure at 23:45) to Shin Moji (arrival at 21:00 the next day) and a multi-coupon worth 2,000 yen or 4,000 yen that can be used on board the ship.
The cabins are “Tourist A” bed-type shared rooms, with the option of changing to a private room or adding a return trip (within 10 days of the outbound embarkation date), passenger car transportation, or local accommodation.
For local accommodations, a single-night plan including breakfast is available at the Quintessa Hotel Kokura (1-3-6 Asano, Kokurakita-ku, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture), a two-minute walk from the Shinkansen exit of Kokura Station. A free shuttle bus will also be available to and from Kokura and Moji Stations.
