povo2.0 now offers plans without voice calls. No paperwork required, activation in as little as 3 minutes.

KDDI and Okinawa Cellular launched povo2.0 data-only plan “povo2.0 Data Only” on March 27. eSIM only supported.

Compared to existing plans that also allow voice calls, the application process has been simplified, and the service will be available in as little as three minutes.

The basic fee is 0 yen. The following plans are available as data toppings. povo2.0 data-only requires the purchase of either “unlimited data use (24 hours)” or “additional 0.3GB data (365 days)” (both 330 yen) when starting use.
