APA Group announced that it has acquired a hotel development site in front of JR Ikebukuro Station (2-8-1 Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo) and will open as APA Hotel in August 2026 with a total of 308 rooms.
The Ikebukuro Station area is already served by the 171-room APA Hotel (Ikebukuro Station North Exit), but the acquisition was made in anticipation of high occupancy rates and further demand for accommodations.
The 15-story hotel, with a total floor area of 5,680m2 and a total of 308 rooms, will be equipped with a large public bath and outdoor hot spring to meet the needs of not only inbound travelers but also a wide range of leisure and business travelers.
