Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, has announced that the Blue Impulse will fly a display during the Kawasaki Leap Festival to be held on June 29.
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Kawasaki City, a professional team of the Air Self-Defense Force will perform acrobatics over the Todoroki Greenbelt. Detailed flight times and locations will be announced on the official website of the Executive Committee as soon as they are determined.
The “Kawasaki Leap Festival” will also feature the outdoor music event “Kawasaki 100 Fest” with performances by SHISHAMO, sumika, Shintaro Tsuneda (Sukima Switch), and others. Newly scheduled to perform are the Senzoku Gakuen School of Music’s “Front Roles”.
Other events on the day will include a para-sports experience corner, the “@/at Todoroki Fest” where visitors can enjoy the gourmet Air Self-Defense Force from a kitchen car, and the “Kawasaki Frontale 100th Anniversary Match” with Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
