Tachikawa Bus, a member of the Odakyu Group, will introduce its first eco-friendly electric buses, featuring the design of “Sumikko Gurashi,” a character from San-X. The bus will be introduced at the Fussa Bus Terminal and is scheduled to start operation on March 27.

The vehicle is a large electric bus with a seating capacity of 81 people. The exterior, ceiling, seats, and other parts of the bus depict Sumikko and other characters that gather in the forest. A capsule toy vending machine is also installed inside the bus. The “Acrylic Key Chain & Can Badge” (5 types, 300 yen each), a Tachikawa Bus limited edition product created in collaboration between the electric bus and Sumikko Gurashi, will be available for purchase.
