ABAB Ueno (4-8-4 Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo) is holding a “Closing Appreciation Festival” starting today, March 22, 100 days before closing.
The commercial facility, which opened on October 28, 1945 along Ueno Chuo-dori near Ueno Station and Ameyoko, has been a favorite of local residents and tourists since its opening on October 28, 1945, but its 78-year history will finally come to an end.
At the Closing Appreciation Festival, each store will offer special deals on apparel, bags, and household goods for spring.
