Tobu Railway and Cross Project Group will open “Nikko Takatoku Camping Station” (397-2 Takatoku, Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture) on May 1, where about 70 groups can casually enjoy camping with nothing in hand at Takatoku Nakaiwa River Park in Nikko City near Shin Takatoku Station on the Tobu Kinugawa Line.
This facility features an excellent location, just a 2-minute walk from Shin Takanori Station on the Tobu Kinugawa Line, which is approximately 2 hours from Asakusa Station and 1 hour and 40 minutes from Kita Senju Station. The location offers a view of the Nikko mountain range, and the sight and sound of trains such as “Spacia X” and “SL Taiki” passing by on the Kinugawa River bridge can be enjoyed up close.
The site is fully equipped with camping equipment and other rental supplies, allowing light users and beginners to travel by train and camp with nothing in hand.
