Mizuno’s “MEasy” walking shoes that can be put on and taken off without using hands

Posted on March 14, 2024 by News Admin

On March 13, Mizuno released “MEasy,” a walking shoe that can be easily put on and taken off without using hands. The price is 9,900 yen.

These walking shoes feature Mizuno’s unique “Open Fit Structure. The footwear is designed to widen when the foot is inserted, and the tongue follows the foot when worn, allowing for both ease of donning and doffing and a good fit.

When walking, the tongue portion can stay in line with the foot, and the shoe continues to fit the foot without coming off when walking. When taking off the shoes, the tongue section stands up again simply by taking the foot out, and the shoe opening returns to its widened state.

The sole is made of soft, highly resilient “MIZUNO ENERZY FOAM,” which reduces the impact of ground contact on the rearfoot and supports weight transfer to the forefoot. The forefoot’s high resilience supports powerful kicking and smooth foot movement.
