Enoden Bus to Start Operating Large and Small EV Buses in Late March

Posted on March 13, 2024 by News Admin

Enoden Bus will begin operating large and small EV buses in Fujisawa and Kamakura in late March.

The EV buses will include one 80-passenger BYD K8 and one 35-passenger BYD J6. The design depicts “the beautiful sea of Fujisawa and Kamakura” and “the rich landscape of both cities” together with “Enon-kun,” the Enoden Group’s image character, based on the desire to continue to protect the rich and beautiful natural environment and sea of Fujisawa and Kamakura for years to come.

The company states that it will introduce environmentally friendly EV buses to contribute to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and the realization of a decarbonized society, as well as to become a community- and environment-friendly public transportation system, and promote urban development that reduces the environmental burden by integrating the town and the buses.
