The National Guest House “Kaikyo View Shimomoseki” (3-58, Memosugawa-cho, Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture) will reopen on March 11.
All rooms have ocean views and are located overlooking the Kanmon Straits. Guests can enjoy different views from various locations such as the lobby, lounge, restaurant, and public baths, including bathing while overlooking the ships passing through the straits and the Kanmon Bridge. Barrier-free Western-style rooms are also available.
Breakfast, which can be enjoyed while enjoying the scenery, has also been renewed. The garden will be in full bloom with tulips during the cherry blossom season starting in March, and “kawara soba set menus” and “hanami bento” will be offered for lunch on a limited basis.
