Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture, will hold its own “Hokuriku Itoigawa Tourism Support Campaign” in conjunction with the implementation of the “Hokuriku Support Discount” by the government and the four Hokuriku prefectures.
The campaign is open to those who stay at ryokan and hotels in Itoigawa City, and offers “Midori-pei” points, a local currency that can be used in the city, for 3,000 yen per reservation per person for stays between March 16 and April 26.
