Fiskars Japan will open an official “Moomin Arabia” store from Finland at PARCO_ya Ueno on March 15 and at Kichijoji PARCO on March 21.
Arabia is a tableware brand founded in 1873 in the Arabia district in the suburbs of Helsinki. The “Moomin Arabia” series, a collaboration with the Moomins, has continued since the 1950s and is designed as a collage of illustrations based on Tove Jansson’s original drawings.
In Ueno and Kichijoji, “Marche Bags” (1,100 yen), limited to 2,000 for each store, will be sold. Other items include popular tableware, textiles, sundries, and Japan-only items.
As a commemorative gift, those who purchase 5,500 yen or more including tax will receive one “Original Wooden Coaster” (until all the coasters are gone). In addition, if you register as a Moomin Arabia member, you will receive an “original sticker”.
