Cherry Blossom Festival in Chiyoda, starting March 22. Light up the cherry blossoms at night, limited tourist ambassador Korilakku goods for sale, etc.

Posted on March 6, 2024 by News Admin

Chiyoda City Tourism Association and Chiyoda Ward will hold the “Chiyoda no Sakura Festival” from March 22 to April 2.

This is an annual event around Chidorigafuchi and Yasukuni Shrine, and the theme for 2024 is “Yorimichi” in Chiyoda City in spring with Hanami.

A “Sakura Tourist Information Center” will be open on Chidorigafuchi Green Road from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the period, and English-speaking tour guides will be available.

The event will include lighting up of the cherry blossoms at night over a distance of approximately 700 meters, nighttime operation of the Chidorigafuchi boatyard where visitors can view the cherry blossoms at night from the water of the moat, and a “real mystery solving game” launched in 2023 and real-time distribution service of the congestion situation using AI cameras.

Other activities include a sightseeing tour, an Instagram campaign, the introduction of digital maps, and the sale of original goods from the tourism association.
