Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hotels & Resorts has begun accepting reservations for lodging at Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Ise Shima (1035 Hamashima, Hamashima-cho, Shima City, Mie Prefecture), which will reopen on June 24.
This is the fifth location in the company’s Premium series. The hotel has a total of 83 rooms, including Japanese-style bed rooms with beds on tatami mats, with room rates starting at 18,900 yen per person (based on double occupancy).
The hotel is located to enjoy the woven landscape of the Rias coast. Taking advantage of this location, the premium lounge is equipped with a fireplace and offers complimentary lounge service including alcohol and soft drinks.
Coastal views can also be enjoyed from the large bathrooms. A new “moon-viewing deck” has been added to the men’s baths, and the indoor baths in the women’s baths have been renovated into semi-open-air baths, so that the ocean can be viewed from every bathtub.
Gourmet buffets featuring seafood menus will continue to be offered. Restaurants with live kitchens will offer menus featuring the bounty of the sea and mountains, as well as local cuisine from the Shima region.
