Gakken has begun accepting reservations for “Gakken no Ehon Zukan: Camping Zukan” to be released on April 4. The book is 207 x 217 mm in size, 32 pages, and priced at 1,430 yen.
The book explains the basics of camping, such as how to pitch a tent or tarp, how to play outside and rope work that can be practiced immediately, and how to make a fire and enjoy a bonfire, with illustrations that are as friendly as a picture book.
It also includes tips on how to stay safe and secure, as well as camping equipment that can be useful at home in the event of a disaster. The book is designed to be easy to understand not only for camp lovers, but also for those who have never experienced camping before and children.
It will be supervised by Satoru Suzuki, an outdoor professional who works as an illustrator and outdoor technology researcher.
