DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station” opens March 29 with 266 rooms including suites. 5-minute walk from Hachijo Exit.

Posted on February 27, 2024 by News Admin

DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station (15 Nishi-Iwamoto-cho, Higashi Kujo, Minami-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) has begun accepting reservations on its official hotel website in advance of its March 29 opening.

This will be the sixth DoubleTree by Hilton brand property in Japan, following the DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Higashiyama, which opened in August 2023.

Located about a five-minute walk from the Hachijo exit of JR Kyoto Station, the nine-story building incorporates a variety of traditional industries, crafts, and decorative elements that are uniquely Kyoto.

The 266 guest rooms include retro-modern spaces on the 2nd to 6th floors, while the “Executive Rooms” and “Suites” on the 7th floor and above offer a classic and relaxing atmosphere. In addition, one of the three “Suite Rooms” has a Japanese-style “Tatami Suite” that allows guests to experience Japanese culture.

The hotel also features an all-day dining room with seating for 128, a cafe & bar, an executive lounge on the top floor, a 24-hour fitness center, and meeting rooms. The all-day dining restaurant offers a menu that incorporates many local seasonal ingredients, while the café and bar offers a “sake drinking set” and other specials.

The Executive Lounge is available only to guests staying in Executive Rooms and Suites, and offers services such as check-in and check-out, breakfast, refreshments, and evening cocktails.
