Tokyo Disney Resort held a ceremony and exhibition to celebrate 100 days before the grand opening of Tokyo DisneySea’s new Fantasy Springs theme port.

New costumes and vehicles (boats) for the new attractions joining the park are also on display for the first time. This time, we will introduce the “Rapunzel’s Forest” exhibit, an area based on the movie “Rapunzel on the Tower.

Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival is a new attraction that offers a romantic boat ride to the annual Lantern Festival. Guests will be able to experience an immersive movie-like experience as they follow the story of Rapunzel on her “best day of all time. The water current ride lasts approximately 5 minutes, and the boat capacity is for 16 people. This is a “Disney Premier Access” attraction.

Newly revealed are the costumes of the cast. The first thing you see is the “sun,” the symbol of the kingdom, familiar to fans of the film. Many of you may recognize this shape, which is a key point in the film. It is also depicted on the lantern and is the key to Rapunzel’s memory near the last scene.

The colors are the same lavender and gold used in Rapunzel’s dress and the flags of her kingdom, and fans can tell just by the colors that it is Rapunzel! It’s also a must-have for fans of Rapunzel. Of course, the Flynn Rider-like element is also a nice touch!
