Moomin Valley Park (327-6 Miyazawa, Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture), operated by Moomin Story, will hold the spring event “SPRING FESTIVAL” from March 1 to April 14.
As a special decoration during the period, an “Entrance Green Wall” will be set up in the cove area at the beginning of Moomin Valley Park to welcome visitors with silhouettes of Moomintroll and Little Mii.
From March 1 to April 26, “5TH ANNIVERSARY,” an event commemorating the 5th anniversary of the opening, will also be held. Limited event goods and a limited menu will be available.
There are a total of four types of limited edition goods. The Moomin plush toy (6,000 yen) has a medal hanging from its chest with an illustration of the park’s 5th anniversary on the front and a serial number engraved on the back. It comes in a special box and was produced in a limited edition of only 1,200 pieces.
Including cookie tins (1,800 yen) and organic tea tins (1,300 yen), they will be sold at the Hajimari no Shops and the Moomin Valley store.
In addition, visitors can try their hand at making original badges (500 yen) with a limited edition “5TH ANNIVERSARY” design at the Moomin Valley store.
Limited menu items include “Shuwashuwa Lemonade” and “Manhattan Dynamite” (700 yen each) at Pikalooka, and a limited design art latte (700 yen) at the Library Cafe on the second floor of Cochems.
In addition, from March 16, the Moomin Valley Restaurant will offer “Roast Beef in the Shape of a Rose Grown by Mama” (2,200 yen).
During the period, a limited number of puzzle coasters will be given away with purchases over a certain amount of money at four participating merchandise stores and five food and beverage stores. Each store has a different design, and when all the coasters are collected, one pattern will be completed.
