OMO by Hoshino Resort will open “OMO5 Hakodate by Hoshino Resort” (24-1 Wakamatsu-cho, Hakodate, Hokkaido), its fourth OMO brand property in Hokkaido, on July 6. The company started accepting reservations on its official website today, February 21.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Hakodate Station and facing an old downtown area, the area is dotted with spots such as a market where you can enjoy fresh seafood, Mt. Hakodate with its beautiful night view, and historical buildings with an exotic atmosphere.

To allow guests to fully enjoy the deep city from morning till night, we offer neighborhood activities such as the “Naturally Satisfied! morning market specialty store tours” and the “Hakodate Round Free Bus,” a free bus service for hotel guests only that tours the city’s sightseeing spots, to provide a lodging experience that allows guests to enjoy the “120% Hakodate” concept.

There are 245 rooms in 12 types, all of which are designed to allow guests to take off their shoes for a relaxing stay. The “Deluxe Rooms,” based on the concept of the city of Hakodate, feature wall art of the Mt. Hakodate ropeway, bed boats depicting night views of Hakodate, sea-colored sofas, brick carpeting, and other amenities.

The OMO House, equipped with a kitchen, allows guests to buy local gourmet foods and enjoy them in their rooms, and is recommended for families, groups, and long-term stays.

OMO Base, a public space that can be used from daytime to nighttime, has been established in the museum. Visitors can dine at the “OMO Cafe & Bar,” which offers original menus such as “HAKODATE Chowder” with seafood broth and “Satori Parfait,” a parfait made with cheese unique to Hokkaido, or relax on the outdoor terrace with a bonfire modeled after a fishing fire on a squid fishing boat.

There is also a large bath for the exclusive use of guests, where they can enjoy hot spring water from the source, and an after-bath area where drinks are available after bathing. Breakfast will be a buffet at the OMO Dining Room, which will feature a live kitchen with an image of Goryokaku, serving “Kaisen Five Stars,” including Kaisen Donburi, Robata Yaki, Ushio Ramen, Sushi, and Karasu Meshi.

Room rates start from 31,000 yen per room per night including breakfast.
