Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture, is offering the Tojinbo Mikuni Onsen “Breakfast at the Port and Hot Spring Tour” plan from February 19 to commemorate the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line in Fukui. The applicable stay period is March 16-17.
The plan includes a ticket for a hot-spring excursion to three Tojinbo Mikuni Hot Springs and a free breakfast ticket at the Mikuni Port Morning Market Anniversary Festival, and is available at eight lodging facilities (Minshuku Itamoto, Shiofu no Yakata Nanafuku, Minshuku Nakajima, Mikuni Hideaway, Uchiyu no Yado Ootoku, Mikuni Ocean Resort & Hotel, Hareya Ryokan, Mikuni Onsen Oyado Araiya (Mikuni Onsen Oyado Araya) are eligible.
The ticket is valid for free at Tojinbo Mikuni Onsen Yuaport, Kikugonmura Echizen Mikuni, and Mikuni Ocean Resort & Hotel, and is valid only for bathing on March 16-17 (not for set plans).
The free breakfast ticket is available at the Mikuni Port Shokudo in Mikuni Port Market, which offers a bowl of rice topped with gasa shrimps, which lose their freshness quickly and are rarely distributed outside of the prefecture, and miso soup with sweet shrimp from Mikuni Port. The offer is available from 7:30 to 11:30 on March 17.
The “Mikuni Port Morning Market Anniversary” will also be held at the same site, including an auction experience and kitchen car stalls.
