Local Charms that Hotel Staffs Know] “Sotetsu Grand Fresa Tokyo Bay Ariake” Recommended by Mr. Mori and Mr. Imai.

Posted on February 19, 2024 by News Admin

Although more and more people are using SNS to gather information about their travel destinations, even in this day and age, we are still interested in the recommendations of local people. In this section, we ask people who work at lodging facilities throughout Japan to introduce points of interest at the lodging facilities where they work and their favorite sightseeing spots in the surrounding area.

For this interview, we spoke with Asami Mori and Maiko Imai of the Sotetsu Grand Fresa Tokyo Bay Ariake Room Reservations Department.

Facility name: Sotetsu Grand Fresa Tokyo Bay Ariake

Location: 3-6-6 Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo

–Please give us an overview of the facility.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Tokyo Big Sight and within walking distance of the Odaiba area. 912 rooms are conveniently located for both business and leisure travelers. All rooms are equipped with Simmons beds and air purifiers with humidification functions, and the free amenity corner offers bath salts, facial cleansers, tea bags, and other pleasant items. Guests can also use the Good Neighbor Hotel Shuttle to Tokyo Disney Resort free of charge (reservations are limited to a maximum number of guests).

–What are some of the highlights or experiences that you would like to see or experience that you can’t find anywhere else?

We have renewed our breakfast menu as of January 10 this year. The concept is “Oedo Tokyo Taste Tour. In addition, the interior of the restaurant is decorated with many paintings of Tokyo sightseeing spots, which will surely make you feel as if you are on a tour of Tokyo.

–What are your personal recommendations for nearby attractions?

As for nearby areas, we recommend TeamLab Planets TOKYO DMM. The works based on the theme of water and flowers, which make full use of digital technology, have a fascinating worldview and are very popular among overseas guests. With the opening of new facilities such as Toyosu Ten Thousand Visitors in Toyosu Market and Immersive Fort Tokyo in Odaiba, there will be more and more recommended spots to visit in the future.

–Finally, any last words for our readers?

Although the Ariake area has an image of being a place for business travelers, new leisure facilities are scheduled to open in recent years. The hotel offers not only single and double rooms, but also triple and force rooms, some of which are equipped with mini-kitchens and washing machines, and are recommended for families and friends who are planning to stay for leisure. The Ariake area is expected to develop in the future. We look forward to serving you.
