Porsche Japan has unveiled a visual wrapping of the Taican, which will run as the official car of the Tokyo Marathon 2024 on March 3.
Twenty Taikan vehicles will be deployed for the event as lead vehicles and chief judges. On the hoods of these vehicles, their roles are clearly indicated, such as “Leader” and “Chief Referee,” and the message “DRIVEN BY DREAMS” is painted on the side of their bodies, along with a straight line that visualizes the path from the present to the future.
The Taikan test drive campaign will run from February 16 to March 4 at 3:00 p.m., and those who enter will be entered to win a seat in the Sydney Marathon 2024 (two winners drawn in a drawing) and the right to test drive the Taikan at the Porsche Experience Center Tokyo (two winners drawn in a drawing).
This campaign will also take place at the Porsche booth at the Tokyo Marathon EXPO 2024, which starts on February 29, where an actual Taikan-wrapped car with Tokyo Marathon specifications will be on display for the first time.
