JTB will release a ticketed travel product, “Let’s Walk in Ghibli Park! which includes admission to the new Ghibli Park area, “Witches’ Valley,” which opens on March 16.

JTB, an official partner of Ghibli Park (1533-1 Ibarake Mawarima Otsu, Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan), will sell travel products with tickets from the time of its opening in November 2022.

With the opening of the new area “Witches’ Valley,” inspired by the world of Ghibli films such as “The Witch’s Delivery Service,” “Howl’s Moving Castle,” and “Arya and the Witch,” visitors will now be able to enter all areas of the park: “The Great Ghibli Storehouse,” “The Hill of Youth,” “Dondoko Forest,” “Mononoke no Sato” and “Witches’ Valley.

The ticketed travel product “Let’s Walk in Ghibli Park! is available for travel between March 15 and September 30, and allows visitors to enter the park for a maximum of two days. Only those who choose the “Ghibli Park Daisanpo Ticket Premium,” which allows access to all five areas and buildings, can add a “Ghibli Park Daisanpo Ticket” (limited quantity), which allows access to each area, restaurants, stores, etc. The ticket includes two types of admission tickets.

Accommodations can be selected from 18 hotels in Nagoya, with a choice of JR or air travel. Departure points are Hokkaido, Tohoku, Tokyo metropolitan area, Chubu, Hokuriku, Kansai, Chugoku-Shikoku, and Kyushu. Applications will be accepted at Ace JTB outlets nationwide, on JTB’s Web page, and at the Travel Reservation Center.

In conjunction with this event, the company will also release an original “Minna no excursion bento” (1,000 yen per box), jointly developed with Yaohiko Honten, a long-established caterer in Nagoya.

The boxed lunch, which includes easy-to-eat side dishes such as tenmusu, miso katsu, onigiri (rice balls), and dashimaki tamago (rolled egg), can be picked up at “Kishimen no Ten Ishihashi” in the Aichi Chikyu-haku Memorial Park by making an advance reservation at least three days in advance. The offer is available from March 16 to September 30.
