Posted on February 13, 2024 by News Admin

NEXCO East Japan will conduct a demonstration experiment of a double-connected truck parking lot reservation system at the Nasu Kogen SA (uphill) on the Tohoku Expressway from 12:00 p.m. on March 19. The parking mass is for three vehicles, and there is no charge for its use.

Full trailer-coupled vehicles exceeding 21 meters in length equipped with ETC 2.0 are eligible, and reservations can be made in 15-minute increments for up to 12 hours, and accepted from two weeks to three hours in advance. Registration for membership on the parking lot reservation website will begin at 2:00 p.m. on February 20, and reservations will be accepted from 12:00 p.m. on March 5.

Depending on the status of the demonstration experiment, the reservation system (number of parking spaces, hours of acceptance, maximum reservation time, types of vehicles covered, etc.) may be changed, and registrants may be asked to participate in a questionnaire survey and monitoring meetings.
