On February 14, Tokyo Tower will hold a special Valentine’s Day lighting and special nighttime opening of the outer staircase.

The open-air stairway connecting the rooftop of Tokyo Tower FOOTTOWN to the main deck (150m), which is normally open from 9:00 to 16:00 on weekends and holidays, will be open specially from 16:00 to 21:00 on Valentine’s Day.

An observation fee of 1,200 yen for adults, 1,000 yen for high school students, 700 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and 500 yen for children 4 and older is required to use the main deck. Chocolate candy will be distributed to the first 333 visitors.

In addition, visitors who complete the 600 steps from the rooftop to the main deck will receive a special “Ascending Stairway Certificate” (not for sale; 10 designs in total).

In addition, a special lighting will be held from 5:21 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at sunset as part of the “Infinity Diamond Veil (Valentine’s Day)” event.
