Let’s make the last of the space travel! Tokyo Disneyland “Celebrating Space Mountain: The Final Ignition! Details Announced

Tokyo Disneyland has announced details of the “Celebrating Space Mountain: The Final Ignition!” special event for the popular Space Mountain attraction, which closes on July 31. and the details of the event have been announced.

The program runs from April 9 through July 31. Visitors can enjoy their last space trip on the current “Space Mountain” with memories of the past. The attraction is scheduled to open in 2027 with an increased power and a new look.

During the event, special decorations and photo locations will appear around Space Mountain. A banner with the special event logo and “The Final Ignition!” will be placed in front of the attraction. In addition, a photo location featuring the ride will be set up. Visitors will be able to take a photo as if they are riding the ride in outer space.

Special goods in colors and designs that fans will love will also go on sale on April 8. The collection includes “pouches” (2,900 yen) and “kinchaku” (900 yen) in colors typical of the attraction, “tumblers” (2,500 yen), “tissue box covers” (2,800 yen), and “clear holders” (350 yen).

In addition, “badge badges” (3,500 yen) upcycled from the costumes of the cast members of the “Space Mountain” attraction are also available as part of the “Tokyo Disney Resort Circulating Smile” program. This item is the perfect size to carry around with you, and is designed to show your love for “Space Mountain”.

A special menu will also be available for pre-sale from April 1. At Tomorrowland Terrace, a sparkling jelly drink (Coca-Cola & Lemon-Vanilla) (700 yen) is available. This drink offers the freshness of cola and the sweet aroma of vanilla bean essence.

Some popcorn wagons in Tomorrowland and other parks will be offering “Popcorn, Regular Box (Salt Flavor)” (400 yen) in a special box with a special design unique to the event. With a drink and popcorn in hand, come and enjoy the excitement of Tomorrowland’s Last Mission and Final Ignition.

And Tomorrowland will distribute original event-specific stickers to thank guests regardless of whether they use the attractions or not!

Disney Hotels will also offer special “Space Mountain” menus. At the Hyperion Lounge of the Disney Ambassador Hotel, a special menu “Celebrating Space Mountain: The Final Ignition! Premium Sweet Set” (5,800 yen) is available.

The menu is best finished with a variety of planet-inspired dishes and visuals reminiscent of outer space and attractions. Offered June 10-July 31, 3pm-7:30pm.

The Disney Resort Line will also be offering limited design “Free Ticket” tickets at ticket machines at each station in conjunction with the event. Please choose one of these tickets when traveling to the parks or your hotel!
