Jetstar Japan and Sony Music Labels will launch the “#Ride on a silver jet” campaign in collaboration with Eiichi Otaki’s “Silver Jet.
Silver Jet” is a song from Eiichi Otaki’s 1984 album “EACH TIME” and is also included in the “EACH TIME 40th Anniversary Edition” to be released on March 21 to commemorate the album’s 40th anniversary. The collaboration was realized because the song is reminiscent of the silver fuselage of the Jetstar.
Eiichi Otaki’s music, which is supported by a wide range of generations in Japan and abroad, is expected to reach not only those in their 50s and 60s who heard it in real time, but also young people in their 20s and 30s, for whom city pop is experiencing a resurgence in popularity.
