JR East Niigata Branch and JR East Sports will hold a collaborative project, “Shinkansen Sauna Hat Present Campaign” from February 14 to March 31.
During the period, passengers can ride the Joetsu Shinkansen downstream (from Tokyo/Ueno/Omiya to Niigata Station) twice using the “Kyun♥ Pass,” which allows unlimited one-day weekday train rides for 10,000 yen, or the Shinkansen e-Ticket, which is ticketless and offers a limited discount. In addition, the first 150 visitors who use JEXER Niigata’s spa visitor twice will receive an original sauna hat (not for sale) with a Shinkansen design.
There are three types of sauna hats: “Tohoku and Hokkaido Shinkansen Series E5,” “Akita Shinkansen Series E6,” and “Joetsu and Hokuriku Shinkansen Series E7,” and you can choose one of your favorite designs.
The spa visitor fee, which will be available at JEXER Niigata from February 14, is 1,320 yen per visit (including face and bath towels). Located on the 9th floor of LEXN2, a 1-minute walk from the south exit of Niigata Station, visitors can stop by for a spa and sauna treatment during business trips and vacations.
