The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will open an approximately 800-meter stretch of Machida City Planning Road No. 3.3.36, Aihara-Tsuruma Line, from Machida Municipal Hospital East Intersection to Kiso Danchi South Intersection to traffic at 15:00 on March 23.
Currently, Shin-Machida Kaido in Kiso Danchi is a road that connects the straight line of Shin-Machida Kaido at the Kiso Danchi Minami intersection to Machida Municipal Hospital. The connection with Machida Kaido, which passes in front of Machida Municipal Hospital, is immediately preceded by a bridge (Asahimachi Ohashi, 132m).
In addition to improving access from the Kiso Danchi area to central Machida, the project is also expected to ease traffic congestion on Machida Kaido.
