Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Sanjo Premier opens July 31. Five floors above ground and one below, 185 rooms in total.

Mitsui Fudosan and Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management will open Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Sanjo Premier (45-1 Hishiya-cho, Sanjo-dori Higashinotoin Higashi-iru, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City) on July 31. This is the 10th Mitsui Garden Hotels “Premier Series” facility in Japan, and reservations began being accepted on February 1.

Three courtyards have been created within the building, and a variety of landscapes can be enjoyed from various locations within the building. The lobby lounge is decorated with plantings to express the harmony between the courtyards and the building, creating a “garden-house-integrity” atmosphere.

There are 185 guest rooms in total. The interiors will be decorated in traditional Japanese colors, such as “layered tones” inspired by Kyoto’s kimono and textiles, and curtains will be blue and dull. The rooms also feature a flow line from the bathroom to the bedroom, which is integrated with the step-in area, with an awareness of “Omote” and “Oku” (the front and back of the room). There will be a total of eight types of guest rooms, including a “junior suite” that can accommodate up to four people on a daybed.

The restaurant, which also has a cheese factory in the front of the restaurant, is open to non-guests. The bar, which is affiliated with a sake brewery in Kyoto Prefecture, will serve mainly sake. The large bath will be approximately 90m2, but with walls arranged to create a cave-like space and a sense of privacy. In addition, a private spa and fitness gym will be available by reservation only.
