Three NEXCO companies plan construction restrictions for FY2024. Hokuriku Expressway, Higashi-Meihan Expressway, and Chugoku Expressway will also be in effect during the congestion period.

NEXCO East Japan, NEXCO Central Japan, and NEXCO West Japan announced on January 31 the schedule of construction regulations that are expected to cause congestion in FY2024.

The routes covered are Tomei, Meishin Expressway, Shin Meishin, Isewan Coastal Highway, Chugoku Expressway, Kanmon Expressway, Kyushu Expressway, Tohoku Expressway, Hokuriku Expressway, Kan-etsu Expressway, Joshinetsu Expressway, Chuo Expressway, Nagano Expressway, Tomeihan Expressway, Kansai Airport Connecting Bridge, Hiroshima Expressway, Oda Expressway, Meijikan.

In the renewal work on the Hokuriku Expressway Komatsu IC – Mikawa IC, Tomeihan Expressway Yatomi IC – Nagoya Nishi IC (off-road), and Chugoku Expressway Takarazuka IC – Kobe JCT, construction restrictions will be in place during busy periods such as GW, Obon, and year-end and New Year holidays.
