New Tokorozawa Kaido Nishihara Shizen Koen Dori – Rokkaku Jizoson intersection to be opened to traffic on February 14. Expected to ease traffic congestion at Kitahara intersection.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will open the Nishi-Tokyo 3, 4, and 9 Hoya Higashimurayama Route (Shin-Tokorozawa Kaido) near the Nishihara Shizen Koen Dori – Tokorozawa Kaido Rokkaku Jizoson intersection (approximately 400 m) to traffic on February 14 at 1 pm.

The opening is expected to ease traffic congestion around the Kitahara intersection, where Tokorozawa Kaido and Shin-Ome Kaido intersect, and will complete the project section (approximately 1.4 km) of Phase I.
