Seibu Railway to Revise Timetable on March 16. Increased weekday daytime runs on Shinjuku, Haijima, and Kokubunji Lines, to the number of trains in operation before Corona.

Posted on January 29, 2024 by News Admin

Seibu Railway will implement a timetable revision on March 16. The timetable for each station after the timetable revision will be posted on the website in early March.

On weekdays, the number of trains on the Shinjuku Line will be increased by two round trips per hour, and on the Haijima Line and Kokubunji Line by one round trip per hour. As a result, the train interval will be improved from 12 minutes to 10 minutes, returning to the frequency prior to the Corona Disaster (March 2022 timetable revision).

In addition, one weekday morning Shinjuku Line down train will be changed from semi-express to express, two Haijima Line down trains will be changed from semi-express to express and each station stop, and one Shinjuku Line down train will be extended from Tokorozawa to Honkawagoe at 21:00 on Saturdays and holidays.

The Yamaguchi Line (Leoliner) will add two round trips on weekday evenings, and the operating schedule will be changed in conjunction with the revised timetable of the Sayama and Tamako Lines.

Regarding limited express trains and reserved-seat trains, the “Limited Express La View” (up) on the Ikebukuro and Seibu-Chichibu lines will move up its 7:00 a.m. operation time on weekdays by approximately 25 minutes, and add one more train to the 8:00 a.m. schedule. On weekends and holidays, the first train from Hanno will be extended to the first train from Seibu-Chichibu.

The “Haijima Liner” (up) on the Shinjuku Line and Haijima Line will operate one more service on weekday mornings, for a total of three services. The “Limited Express Red Arrow” will discontinue two weekday 9:00-10:00 a.m. down trains and shorten two weekday 16:00-17:00 a.m. up trains from the Honkawagoe departure point to the Tokorozawa departure point.
