JR East will operate a special “Magical Dream Shinkansen” train to commemorate the grand finale of the Tokyo Disney Resort 40th Anniversary “Dream Go Round”.

The Magical Dream Shinkansen, whose cars feature Mickey Mouse and his Disney friends in special Tokyo Disney Resort 40th Anniversary costumes, is scheduled to run until around the end of March 2024.

The “Yamabiko No. 40 (all reserved seats)” train departing from Sendai on February 17 and the “Toki No. 40 (all reserved seats)” train departing from Niigata on March 2 will be operated as special trains.

In addition to the special train service, a lodging package plan was also announced. In addition to boarding the “Magical Dream Shinkansen,” guests will be able to stay at a hotel and enjoy Tokyo Disney Resort, which is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary.

Travel agencies will offer accommodation plans as dedicated travel products. The plans include a one-day passport that allows entry to Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea on the day following the tour, or a plan that allows optional purchase of a one-day passport.

JTB, Nippon Travel Agency, Kinki Nippon Tourist Blue Planet, Yomiuri Travel Agency, Hankyu Express, T-LIFE Holdings (Tabikusu), and JR East View Tourism & Sales will handle the tickets, which will go on sale as soon as they are ready.

Original goods (stickers not for sale) will be given as a privilege of use.
